TexAmericas Center and Potentia Development Launch $3.5B Project Big Pine in Texarkana
Project Big Pine, a $3.5 billion initiative, aims to develop a 500-acre site in Texarkana for data centers and AI infrastructure. The project is designed to enhance scalability and operational efficiency for power-intensive users, targeting energization within 24-30 months.

TexAmericas Center and Potentia Development have initiated Project Big Pine, a $3.5 billion investment aimed at establishing a 500-acre campus in the Texarkana MSA for data centers and other power-intensive users. The development is set to create approximately 120 permanent jobs upon full operational scale and is designed to align site readiness with user requirements while incorporating a prime power strategy and battery storage.
The project has entered the utility study process with AEP-SWEPCO for long-term transmission access, leveraging a nearby 345-kV transmission line. The site also benefits from natural gas availability, regional water solutions, and high-capacity fiber connectivity. The strategic development is positioned to enhance competitiveness in attracting transformative commercial investments.
