Texas Instruments Partners with NVIDIA for Humanoid Robot Deployment
Texas Instruments (TI) and NVIDIA have partnered to accelerate the deployment of humanoid robots by linking TI's mmWave radar technology with NVIDIA's Jetson Thor supercomputer. This integration will enhance robots' ability to make intelligent decisions in real-time based on sensor data.
The partnership aims to address challenges such as navigating low-light conditions and avoiding obstacles. The technologies will be connected via NVIDIA's Holoscan Sensor Bridge to reduce latency. This initiative highlights the increasing role of physical AI in industrial settings, with applications already seen at BMW and Hyundai. Further details will be presented at the NVIDIA GTC conference in San Jose, California, from March 16-19.
