Textron Aviation Announces 2026 Top Hawk Program Recipients
Five organizations have been selected as recipients in the 2026 Top Hawk program, which promotes pilot training. The initiative has delivered 55 new Cessna Skyhawks since its inception in 2015, addressing the increasing demand for pilots in the aviation industry.

Textron Aviation has named Brazos Valley Flight Services, Executive Air Taxi Corporation, Fairmont State University, Sterling Flight Training, and Victors Aviation as the 2026 Top Hawk recipients. The Top Hawk program, established in 2015, has provided 55 new Cessna Skyhawks to flight training organizations, enhancing pilot education through access to modern aircraft.
Over the next decade, the industry anticipates a need for more than 200,000 new pilots, intensifying the demand for advanced training equipment. The Cessna Skyhawk remains the most popular single-engine aircraft for pilot training, with over 45,000 units delivered globally since its first flight in 1955. This program not only aids in pilot training but also increases the visibility of participating schools, contributing to enrollment growth.
