The Thessaloniki-Skopje oil pipeline resumed operations on New Year's Eve after 13 years, according to Helleniq Energy CEO Andreas Siamisis. The pipeline facilitates diesel fuel exports to North Macedonia, Kosovo, southern Serbia, and Bulgaria.

The first shipment has been delivered, with a second expected soon. Siamisis also discussed an exploratory drilling project in Block 2 of the Ionian Sea with ExxonMobil and Energean, planned within 12 to 18 months.

Seismic surveys with Chevron are ongoing. Helleniq Energy reported operating profits exceeding €1 billion in 2025 and plans a €50 million upgrade of the Thisvi power plant by early 2027. The company aims for a 10% market share in the retail electricity market by 2030 and will operationalize energy storage units in Thessaloniki soon.
