The Tidworth centre received £2,000 from a total £20,000 grant to create a family support outreach service for families of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This initiative aids families in accessing community support and resources.
The centre plans to develop an inclusive outdoor learning environment next. In South Lanarkshire, Social Bite invested $3.5 million in Harriet Gardens, a homeless village featuring 15 one-bedroom units, community space, and support services provided by the Salvation Army.
This project addresses a 33% increase in homelessness over the past six years in the area. While some local residents opposed the project, community outreach efforts have been initiated to foster connections.
