Titan Mining Expands Graphite Deposits at Empire State Mine
Titan Mining has identified a significantly larger graphite deposit at the Empire State Mine, with implications for U.S. supply.

Titan Mining has reported that the graphite deposit at the Empire State Mine is larger and more scalable than initially estimated. This discovery may lead to job creation and an extended operational lifespan for the mine, which has not produced graphite in the U.S. for over 50 years.
The mine could become the sole supplier of graphite in the country, potentially fulfilling over half of the national annual demand. Funding totaling approximately $5 million has been utilized for the mining operation, which Titan plans to enhance with a micronization and purification facility, expecting to begin hiring in 2027. The expansion carries economic significance, highlighting the need for domestic graphite production amidst increasing demand in various industries.
