Togliattiazot to Merge with Transammiak, Take Over Ammonia Pipeline Operations
JSC Togliattiazot will merge with Transammiak LLC, which manages the Russian segment of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline, following a decision made on December 26. Post-merger, Transammiak will cease operations, and its shares were recently acquired by Sid-Trade LLC, which is pledged to JSC Khimaktivinvest, the entity controlling Togliattiazot. Ammonia transit through the pipeline has been halted since February 2022 due to damages, although the Russian section remains intact.

JSC Togliattiazot will merge with Transammiak LLC, which operates the Russian section of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline, following a decision made on December 26. Transammiak will cease operations post-merger.
Sid-Trade LLC acquired 99.99% of Transammiak shares in March 2025, with its stake pledged to JSC Khimaktivinvest. Khimaktivinvest, which controls Togliattiazot, is fully owned by Uralchem Holding Company. Ammonia transit through the pipeline has been suspended since February 24, 2022, due to damages in June 2023, although the Russian section remains secure.
