Tokushima Auction Market Co., Ltd. plans to redevelop General Santos International Airport in the Philippines into a global air cargo hub in collaboration with CAAP and the City of General Santos. The project focuses on utilizing AI and digital technologies to enhance logistics and support agriculture and fisheries.

It includes advanced cold-chain infrastructure, a 3,200m runway, and a projected investment of $1.2 billion, which aims to create approximately 4,550 jobs. The redevelopment also features an AI data center to optimize airport operations and is set to be developed through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme.
