Toll Brothers received approval for a development agreement to build 107 luxury homes in Lodi Township, Michigan, as part of the Arbor Preserve project. The township Board of Trustees voted 3-2 in favor despite resident concerns over environmental impacts and zoning issues.
The project includes Arbor Preserve-North and Arbor Preserve-South, located on wooded land. Further approvals are needed from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy for wastewater treatment permits.
The township's planning commission had previously recommended denial of the project, which had evolved from an earlier proposal for over 400 multi-family units. Toll Brothers plans to break ground this construction season.
