Toyota Hydrogen Solutions Secures Key Certifications for Fuel Cell Technology
Toyota Hydrogen Solutions has received ANSI/CSA FC 1 and FC 6 certifications for its fuel cells, facilitating wider adoption in stationary power applications. The certifications lower barriers for businesses transitioning to eco-friendly power generation methods.

Toyota Hydrogen Solutions has achieved ANSI/CSA FC 1 and FC 6 certifications for its fuel cells, promoting their use in stationary power generation. These fuel cells, which produce only water vapor as exhaust, are positioned to alleviate pressure on electricity grids and serve critical infrastructure.
They are exempt from some operational restrictions due to their zero carbon emissions at the point of use. Toyota is expanding its fuel cell applications, recently collaborating with Rehlko to provide 1 MW generators.
The company will showcase its stationary power generator at the ACT Expo 2026 in Las Vegas. The growth of this technology could significantly impact energy resilience and sustainability efforts.
