TPG Acquires 49% Stake in TCS's HyperVault AI Data Center for ₹199 Crore
Tata Consultancy Services has diluted its stake in HyperVault AI Data Center Limited, making it no longer a wholly owned subsidiary. TPG Terabyte Bidco Pte. Ltd. acquired a 49% stake for approximately ₹199.36 crore, following agreements signed in November 2025. The investment includes various classes of shares, with TPG now holding 49% of the company's paid-up capital. HyperVault, established on October 29, 2025, focuses on AI data center infrastructure and had a net worth of ₹208.38 crore as of December 31, 2025.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has diluted its ownership in HyperVault AI Data Center Limited after TPG Terabyte Bidco Pte. Ltd. acquired a 49% stake for about ₹199.36 crore. This transaction finalized the conditions from agreements signed in November 2025, with TPG subscribing to 2,70,000 equity shares and over 70 million compulsory convertible preference shares.
Following this investment, TPG holds 49% of HyperVault's paid-up capital, ending TCS's status as the sole owner. HyperVault, founded on October 29, 2025, specializes in AI data center infrastructure and reported a net worth of ₹208.38 crore by December 31, 2025, without generating revenue in its initial months.
