A head-on collision between two material-carrying trains occurred inside the tunnel of the THDC Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydroelectric Project in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand. The incident happened during a routine shift change, with a significant number of workers present in the tunnel area.
