Tramontina Invests MX$500 Million in First Mexican Plant in Lerma for Localized Manufacturing
Tramontina has inaugurated its first plant in Mexico, located in Lerma, with an investment of MX$500 million. This facility aims to enhance localized Industry 4.0 manufacturing, reduce lead times, and strengthen the supply chain for domestic and USMCA markets. The plant will produce non-stick aluminum pans and prioritize sustainable practices and compliance with local regulations, including obtaining the Hecho en México certification by 2026.

The plant focuses on producing non-stick aluminum pans using automated systems aligned with Industry 4.0 standards. It is designed for flexibility and integrates sustainable practices, including waste management and water reuse.
Tramontina plans to achieve Hecho en México certification by 2026, marking a strategic milestone in its commitment to the local market and adherence to regulations. Additional investments are planned for 2027 to support phased growth.
