Trane Launches HSAG Air-Cooled Magnetic Bearing Chiller for Asia Pacific Data Centers
Trane Technologies has launched the HSAG, an air-cooled magnetic bearing chiller designed for Asia Pacific data centers. The HSAG uses oil-free technology and low global warming potential refrigerants to enhance energy efficiency and reliability. It is engineered for extreme conditions, operates in temperatures up to 52°C, and supports decarbonization efforts with a GWP of less than 1. The chiller offers capacities from 200 to 600 tons and aims to help data centers reduce power usage while maintaining performance.

Trane Technologies has introduced the HSAG, an air-cooled magnetic bearing chiller tailored for the Asia Pacific data center market. This chiller incorporates oil-free magnetic levitation technology and low GWP refrigerants to improve energy efficiency and reliability.
It performs effectively in high temperatures, making it suitable for regions like India and Southeast Asia. The HSAG achieves a COP over 5.0 and improves IPLV by 10-20% compared to conventional chillers, enabling significant energy cost savings. Additionally, it offers capacities between 200 and 600 tons and is designed to support data center operations under stringent environmental regulations.
