Triple Point Arranges Debt Funding for 57 MW Onshore Wind Project in Scotland
Triple Point has secured debt funding for a 57 MW onshore wind project in the Scottish Borders, owned by Fair Play Clean Energy Ltd. The Whitelaw Brae wind farm, featuring 14 turbines, is projected to generate 149,000 MWh annually, powering over 45,000 homes, and is set to begin operations in December 2026 with a 30-year lifespan. The project aims to significantly reduce CO2 emissions by over 65,000 tonnes each year.

Triple Point will arrange debt funding for a 57 MW onshore wind project in the Scottish Borders, owned by Fair Play Clean Energy Ltd, a joint venture of Thrive Renewables plc and TopCashback Sustainability Ltd. The Whitelaw Brae wind farm, located 3 km southwest of Tweedsmuir, will consist of 14 turbines generating up to 149,000 MWh annually, enough to power over 45,000 UK homes.
The project is set to commence commercial operation in December 2026 and aims for a 30-year operational life, delivering renewable energy and reducing CO2 emissions by over 65,000 tonnes annually. The transaction involved advisory support from CMS, TLT, Locogen, and WTW.
