Tritax Proposes Data Center Campus Project Blackwater in Chelmsford, UK
DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
Tritax Chelmsford PropCo Limited has filed an application with Chelmsford city council for a new data center campus, Project Blackwater, located 35 miles northeast of London. The development will consist of two two-story hyperscale facilities on greenfield land along Beaulieu Parkway, totaling 86,860 sqm.
Each facility will deliver 44MW of power across 29,110 sqm of data center space. Tritax is also planning a separate data center campus west of London in Slough.
