Türkiye and Pakistan Forge Agreements for Electricity Sector Reform
Türkiye has signed three cooperation agreements with Pakistan to enhance its electricity privatization efforts. The collaboration focuses on grid operations, electricity market design, and workforce training, aiming to improve operational efficiency and regional energy security.

Türkiye's cooperation with Pakistan includes three key agreements focused on enhancing electricity distribution, transmission systems, and market operations as part of Pakistan's energy sector reform. The agreements involve Turkish Electricity Distribution Company (TEDAS), Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS), and Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) collaborating with their Pakistani counterparts to bolster operational monitoring, capacity building, and market digitalization.
