Türkiye Initiates Development of Sovereign AI Infrastructure with Ena Venture Capital

Türkiye is advancing towards creating a sovereign artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure to support domestic companies and reduce foreign dependency. Ena Venture Capital, represented by strategy advisor Mehmet Üner, aims to become a key investor in early-stage AI startups in Türkiye.

At the Take Off Istanbul 2025 event, Üner highlighted investments in four startups: Orbina (agentic AI), Enlighty (customer insights), MagicPay (payment processing), and CloudFlex (hybrid cloud). Notably, Orbina has undertaken significant projects in finance and public sectors and developed a Turkish large language model (LLM).

Ena Venture Capital is also investing in Nuvena to establish the necessary infrastructure for AI startups in Türkiye. This initiative aims to create local data center capacity and an AI layer to meet hardware needs domestically, fostering self-sufficiency.
