Türkiye Tests HAVA SOJ Electronic Warfare Jet for Future Combat Operations
On March 1, 2026, Türkiye's HAVA SOJ electronic warfare jet completed a test flight with integrated mission equipment. The program aims to deliver four stand-off jammer aircraft based on the Bombardier Global 6000, designed to conduct electronic support and attack missions against enemy systems. The HAVA SOJ jets will operate outside threat envelopes to disrupt adversary radars and communications, facilitating safe passage for friendly aircraft. The system incorporates ground support and various unmanned systems, enhancing Türkiye's electronic warfare capabilities by 2026.

Türkiye's HAVA SOJ electronic warfare jet is undergoing testing, with a full operational capability targeted by the end of 2026. The program intends to convert four Bombardier Global 6000 jets into electronic warfare aircraft capable of conducting missions against radar and communication systems from outside hostile airspace.
The initiative, managed by the Secretariat of Defence Industries, includes establishing support infrastructure. The HAVA SOJ jets will suppress enemy defenses and facilitate operations for manned and unmanned aircraft. The broader electronic warfare structure includes various ground and airborne systems, enhancing Türkiye's military capabilities.
