Trontek is expanding its manufacturing operations to create over 500 jobs by FY27, increasing its workforce from 967 to nearly 1,400. This growth is driven by rising demand in India's energy storage and electric mobility sectors, particularly for electric two- and three-wheelers, and rooftop solar installations.

The expansion will focus on production, quality systems, and battery engineering, with a significant emphasis on enhancing in-house R&D capabilities in areas such as battery-management systems and thermal-safety engineering. Trontek will also implement technical-training programs to develop specialized skills in lithium-ion assembly and energy-storage systems.
