Tropical Battery has integrated its solar operations with KAYA Energy Group, marking a shift towards comprehensive renewable energy solutions in Jamaica. This partnership aims to benefit both commercial and residential properties by providing a full life cycle energy system management.
The integrated platform will manage the design, construction, commissioning, and long-term performance of solar and energy storage systems. Current projects include the deployment of approximately three megawatts of solar systems across over 20 hospitals and schools as part of a government initiative.
The new model allows for standardised execution and long-term management of renewable energy assets, improving execution speed and enabling better quality control. This approach is expected to provide businesses with long-term energy efficiency and cost stability, insulating them from rising electricity costs and fuel price volatility.
