Trump Signs Executive Order to Reduce Aluminium Tariffs for Domestic Smelter Projects

Commerce Department by January 20, 2029, which will be monitored for compliance; violations may lead to retroactive penalties. This policy aims to bolster domestic production amid a supply gap, as U.S. demand for primary aluminium exceeds current output levels.
