The Technische Universität Dresden (TUD) has been awarded approximately €2.76 million for seven Doctoral Networks under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) 2024 call. One project is coordinated by TUD, while it participates as a partner in six others.
The funded networks include: SLICE, focusing on the environmental impact of space launches; COMBINE, aimed at decarbonization in industry and power generation; E-Sailors, developing an electric solar sail propulsion system; EXODOCS, enhancing planetary exploration and astrobiology; RAPTORplus, advancing personalized proton therapy; REACT, training in neuromorphic systems; and SHIELD, improving strategies for implant-associated infections. TUD's European Project Center provided support throughout the application process.
