Turkey Creek Regional Sewer District Receives $560,000 Grant for Water Utility Improvements
Turkey Creek Regional Sewer District (TCRSD) has been awarded a $560,000 grant from the Office of Rural and Community Affairs to fund water utility improvement projects in Enchanted Hills. The grant will enable TCRSD to expand its projects after a bid for Project A was accepted, with $285,000 remaining from a $4.5 million State Revolving Fund grant. The board also approved changes to billing dates and hired an administrator for the grant.

Turkey Creek Regional Sewer District (TCRSD) received a $560,000 grant from the Office of Rural and Community Affairs to support water utility improvements in Enchanted Hills. The board approved SLB Pipe Solutions' bid of $3,580,979 for Project A, which involves new water mains and replacing asbestos concrete pipes.
With $285,000 left from a $4.5 million State Revolving Fund grant, TCRSD plans to purchase 70 new water meters. The board also approved changes to billing due dates and hired Shannon McLeod of Baker-Tilly for grant administration at $40,000. The next meeting is scheduled for April 20.
