Turkish Firm Marbeyaz to Invest in Afghanistan's Hydropower and Turbine Repair
Turkish firm Marbeyaz plans to invest in Afghanistan's hydropower sector and turbine repair, following discussions between its engineer Günay Küsay and Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat CEO Mullah Abdul Haq Hamkar. The collaboration aims to enhance electricity generation and technical staff capacity, with Hamkar confirming that necessary facilities and incentives are available to support the investment. Küsay highlighted the importance of joint technical assessments to evaluate the potential for electricity generation across Afghanistan's provinces.

A Turkish firm, Marbeyaz, expressed interest in investing in electricity generation from water resources and turbine maintenance in Afghanistan. Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) CEO Mullah Abdul Haq Hamkar met with Marbeyaz engineer Günay Küsay to discuss opportunities in hydropower, equipment rehabilitation, and the installation of modern turbines.
Hamkar assured that necessary facilities and incentives are in place to encourage investment. Küsay emphasized his company's commitment to enhancing technical staff capacity and evaluating electricity generation potential through joint technical meetings and assessments across Afghanistan's provinces.
