UAE and Jereh Group Partner for Clean Energy Industrial Platform
The UAE's Ministry of Investment has signed an MoU with Jereh Group to develop an integrated clean energy and industrial platform. This collaboration aims to enhance UAE-China economic ties and align with national energy strategies, supporting advanced manufacturing and energy security.

A Memorandum of Understanding has been established between the UAE's Ministry of Investment and Jereh Group to create a clean energy and industrial platform. The project includes deploying small modular reactor technology for zero-carbon power, building an anode material facility with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes annually, and implementing lithium battery recycling.
This initiative aligns with the UAE's Energy Strategy 2050 and is expected to be phased over three to five years. The Ministry will facilitate Jereh Group's growth, reinforcing the UAE's position as a hub for technology and investment. The partnership may attract further investment from China, which is already a significant trading partner, with bilateral trade exceeding $100 billion in 2024.
