UAE and Jereh Group Sign MoU for Clean Energy Platform Development
The UAE Ministry of Investment and Jereh Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create an integrated clean energy and industrial platform. This initiative aims to enhance bilateral economic relations with China and position the UAE as a leader in advanced energy technologies.

The UAE Ministry of Investment and Jereh Group have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a clean energy platform that includes small modular reactor technology, anode material manufacturing, and lithium battery recycling. This integrated approach supports the UAE's Energy Strategy 2050, which seeks to increase low-carbon energy sources.
The initiative is expected to unfold over the next three to five years, with the anode facility targeting an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes. The Ministry's involvement aligns with its mission to attract investments in high-growth sectors, reinforcing the UAE's status as a global investment hub amid evolving economic ties with China.
