Uberlândia Refrescos Secures R$ 102 Million BNDES Funding for Digital Beverage Line
Uberlândia Refrescos will utilize R$ 102 million from BNDES to establish a fully digitalized PET beverage bottling line. This funding, representing 63% of the total investment, will enhance production capacity by 72% while promoting sustainability.

Uberlândia Refrescos has been awarded R$ 102 million by the BNDES to implement a pioneering fully automated beverage bottling line in Brazil. The financing represents 63% of the total investment for the project, which is part of the new Alexandre Biagi Industrial Complex.
The facility is designed to be the most sustainable Coca-Cola manufacturer globally, incorporating features such as rainwater harvesting and complete wastewater treatment. The new production line is expected to reduce water use by about 10% per liter, energy consumption by 10-15%, production costs by 35.5%, and operational changeover time by up to 90%. This initiative will also create 89 new jobs and is projected to be completed by 2026.
