The facility will cover 2.3 hectares and be constructed in phases, with the first phase focused on core facilities and subsequent expansion for generative AI needs. Ubitus aims to implement a 405-billion-parameter language model and develop real-world AI applications to support local employment and industrial growth.

Ubitus will initiate its AI Data Center project in Maizuru City, Kyoto, on January 29, 2026, marking the development of a top-tier AI GPU center. This project, powered by NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and NeoCloud, aims to enhance Japan's AI infrastructure.
The data center will cover approximately 2.3 hectares and will adopt a phased construction approach, with the first phase focused on building core facilities and the second phase aimed at expanding capacity for generative AI demands. Construction is expected to begin in 2026, with completion targeted for 2027.
The facility will utilize NeoCloud for dynamic GPU resource allocation, catering to specific regional and project needs.
