UFCA Invests Over R$ 1.6 Million in Data Center Modernization
The Federal University of Cariri (UFCA) has completed a data center upgrade with an investment exceeding R$ 1.6 million. This modernization enhances data storage capacity and supports new administrative and academic management systems.

The Federal University of Cariri (UFCA) has invested over R$ 1.6 million in upgrading its data center, completing the installation of new technological solutions. Funding was secured through a parliamentary amendment from federal deputies José Guimarães (PT) and Luiz Gastão (PSD).
The initiative aims to improve data storage and facilitate the implementation of advanced management systems. The new infrastructure offers enhanced processing capabilities and improved operational efficiency, according to Lucas Barbosa, the manager of UFCA's Data Center Division. This investment may boost the university's research and administrative operations, potentially increasing its competitiveness in academic circles.
