UFRR Faces System Outage; Emergency Measures Underway
UFRR's Integrated Management System (SIGAA) has been down since August 6 due to a critical hardware failure. The university is taking emergency steps to hire a specialized company for diagnostics and repairs.

The University of Roraima (UFRR) reported a significant outage affecting its Integrated Management System (SIGAA), which has been offline since August 6. This disruption stems from a complex technical issue within the Central Datacenter, linked to a critical hardware failure in the data storage system.
Affected services include SIGAA, SIPAC, SIGRH, Moodle, and other local infrastructure services. UFRR has initiated an emergency procurement process to engage a specialized firm for a conclusive diagnosis and necessary repairs.
The Ministry of Education has also been notified for support in recovery efforts. The administration will keep the university community updated on service restoration progress.
