Defence Equipment and Support plans to award a £4 million contract for a mobile test facility for tactical data links. This initiative is crucial for ensuring the operational integrity of air and maritime platforms in the UK.

Defence Equipment and Support is set to finalize a contract valued at approximately £4 million for a mobile test facility aimed at tactical data links on air and maritime platforms. The contract is expected to span from May 1, 2027, to April 30, 2032, with an option for extension until April 30, 2035.
The facility will include a vehicle outfitted with three workstations and various communication capabilities, including Link 16 and Link 22.
