Starting April 2025, the UK Government will increase the Expensive Car Supplement threshold to £50,000 exclusively for zero emission vehicles, including electric and hydrogen fuel cell cars. This change aims to support the British car industry and is expected to benefit over one million motorists, saving each approximately £440 annually. Additionally, £1.5 billion in funding for the electric vehicle industry was announced.
