UK Space Agency Accelerator Boosts Investment and Growth in Space Sector
The UK Space Agency Accelerator supports early-stage space entrepreneurs with mentoring and investor engagement. Since its launch, it has aided over 317 entrepreneurs, leading to over £65 million raised in funding. The recent Explore and Leo cohorts helped 45 founders secure £2.8 million in investment and improved monthly revenues. The Accelerator enhances entrepreneurial capabilities and fosters strategic partnerships while continuing support through its Fusion, Geo, and Shuttle programmes, with new applications opening in early 2026.

The UK Space Agency Accelerator provides support to early-stage space entrepreneurs through mentoring and ecosystem access, facilitating the transition from concept to commercial reality. Since its launch, it has assisted over 317 entrepreneurs and delivered 20 cohorts.
Participants have received more than 11,000 hours of mentoring, resulting in over £65 million in funding raised. The recent Explore and Leo cohorts supported 45 founders, leading to £2.8 million in combined investment and increases in monthly revenues by over £112,000.
The Accelerator has formed over 35 strategic partnerships and has helped shorten time-to-market for ventures by over 6 months on average. It continues to support new ventures through its other programmes, with applications opening in early 2026.
