UK Veteran Reduces Energy Bills with Backyard Data Center
Terence Bridges installed a data center in his garden, reducing energy costs significantly. This technology, developed with Thermify Heatub, captures heat from processors to provide home heating, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional systems.

Terence Bridges, a UK veteran, has implemented a backyard data center that has decreased his energy expenses by €300 monthly. This innovative solution, developed in partnership with Thermify Heatub, utilizes heat generated by approximately 500 processors to heat his home, costing only €57 per month for energy.
The initial setup price for such a system is around €2,800 for a 10-year period. Thermify Heatub plans to install ten additional data centers within the next 18 months, responding to a growing demand for data centers. The captured heat from these installations may emerge as a significant resource for energy efficiency.
