Ukrainian troops successfully repelled a large-scale Russian offensive in the Lyman-Borova sector on March 19, involving over 500 Russian troops and significant military assets. The operation resulted in heavy losses for Russian forces, including 84 motorized vehicles, 11 infantry fighting vehicles, three tanks, and 405 personnel. Ukrainian units disrupted the assault across seven fronts, preventing any territorial gains by Russian troops, who also faced prior losses before engaging in combat.

On March 19, Ukrainian forces thwarted a significant offensive by Russian troops in the Lyman-Borova sector, involving the 1st Tank Army and 20th Combined Arms Army. The assault spanned seven fronts and included over 500 Russian soldiers, 28 armored vehicles, and 100 motorized vehicles.
Ukrainian units successfully halted the Russian advance within four hours, inflicting heavy losses of 84 motorized vehicles, 11 infantry fighting vehicles, three tanks, and over 405 personnel, with 288 classified as irreversible losses. Russian attempts to seize new positions were unsuccessful, and continued losses were reported within Ukraine's strike zone.
