Ulanqab's 15th Five-Year Plan to Advance Hydrogen Pipeline Project and New Energy Development

The Ulanqab Municipal People's Government has released recommendations for the 15th Five-Year Plan, focusing on advancing the hydrogen pipeline project to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The plan emphasizes developing a comprehensive green hydrogen industrial chain, including production, storage, transmission, and utilization.

It also aims to promote new energy storage projects and establish hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing clusters. Ulanqab plans to enhance its power transmission capacity, strengthen natural gas pipeline infrastructure, and support emerging industries such as green hydrogen, ammonia, and new materials.

The document outlines initiatives for energy efficiency, cross-border integration of energy companies with big data, and smart microgrid projects, while also addressing challenges in agricultural modernization and rural revitalization.
