UltraEdge Invests €15 Million in Second Datapole Data Center in Vénissieux, France
French company UltraEdge is launching its second Datapole data center in Vénissieux, following Bordeaux. With an investment of €15 million, the project includes renovating an old Rhodia industrial site, enhancing cooling infrastructures, and boosting IT capacity to 6.4 MW. An additional 17,000 m² building is planned to increase capacity by 2 MW. By June 2026, seven Datapoles will be operational across France.

UltraEdge is deploying its second Datapole data center in Vénissieux, with an investment of €15 million. This facility, built on the site of an old Rhodia industrial location, will feature an IT capacity of 6.4 MW, making it the most powerful site in UltraEdge's network.
The infrastructure improvements include modernized cooling systems. A future building of 17,000 m² will add an extra 2 MW. By June 2026, UltraEdge plans to have seven Datapoles operational in France, enhancing local infrastructure and connectivity for businesses.
