UltraTech Cement Acquires Stake in AMPIN for 45 MW Solar-Plus-Storage Project in Odisha
UltraTech Cement Limited has acquired a 26% stake in AMPIN C&I Power Forty Four Private Limited for a 45 MWp DC / 30 MW AC solar project with battery storage in Odisha. The Rs 15.12 crore investment aims to meet green energy needs and optimize costs. The project is expected to complete within 180 days. UltraTech's renewable energy share is at 41%, projected to rise to 60%. The partnership follows a previous solar project in Rajasthan.

UltraTech Cement Limited has acquired a 26% equity stake in AMPIN C&I Power Forty Four Private Limited as part of a 45 MWp DC / 30 MW AC solar power project with battery storage in Golamunda, Kalahandi district, Odisha. The investment of Rs 15.12 crore is intended to meet UltraTech's green energy requirements and optimize energy costs.
The project is expected to be completed within 180 days. UltraTech's current renewable energy share is nearly 41%, anticipated to increase to 60%. This collaboration follows a previous partnership for a 75 MWp DC / 50 MW AC solar project in Rajasthan.
