Union Minister Advocates for Hydroelectric Projects and Educational Expansion in Mizoram
Union Minister Suresh Gopi emphasized the necessity for increased hydroelectric projects, more Kendriya Vidyalayas, and agricultural exports during his visit to Mizoram. These initiatives are aimed at addressing power demands and enhancing educational access in the state.

During a visit to Kolasib district, Union Minister Suresh Gopi highlighted the urgent need for additional hydroelectric projects in Mizoram to support the state's rising energy demands. He pointed out that Mizoram has only one Kendriya Vidyalaya and called for increased efforts to expand these institutions through local MPs.
Gopi also underscored the potential for agricultural exports, particularly in horticulture, to bolster the economy. Improvements in railway connectivity were acknowledged as beneficial for development. After the meeting, he interacted with local palm farmers at an Oil Palm Processing Mill, reinforcing the importance of agricultural productivity.
