Universal Quantum Joins Tech Nation’s Future Fifty 2026 Cohort
Universal Quantum has been selected for Tech Nation's Future Fifty 2026, a program supporting high-growth scaleups in the UK. The cohort represents over £1.3 billion in funding and includes companies across various sectors, with 96% expanding globally. The announcement was made at an event hosted by Chancellor Rachel Reeves. Universal Quantum focuses on scalable quantum computing infrastructure, with systems deployed with the German Aerospace Center and collaborations with the Open Quantum Institute.

Universal Quantum has been selected for Tech Nation's Future Fifty 2026 cohort, which supports high-growth scaleups in the UK. The cohort includes companies from sectors such as AI, healthtech, aerospace, and climatetech, collectively raising over £1.3 billion and employing more than 2,900 people, with 96% of companies expanding internationally.
The announcement was made by Chancellor Rachel Reeves at 11 Downing Street. Universal Quantum develops scalable quantum computing infrastructure, featuring the iQPU and UQConnect systems. Their technology is deployed with the German Aerospace Center and in collaboration with the Open Quantum Institute for research in women's health. The Future Fifty program is supported by partners like HSBC Innovation Banking and EY.
