University of Cagliari and IIT Dharwad Launch Green Hydrogen Research Collaboration
ELECTROLYZERHYDROGEN
The University of Cagliari and the Indian Institute of Technology in Dharwad have launched a joint research project centered on green hydrogen and advanced electrical systems. This initiative aims to support the energy transition by developing stable and resilient electrical networks, with the goal of increasing renewable energy use by 2030.
The project includes the development of grid-forming hydrogen electrolysers that enhance grid stability. A kick-off meeting at IIT Dharwad marked the project's operational start, with plans for a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize the partnership and facilitate collaboration between researchers from both institutions.
