Urgent Energization of 132kV Grid Station Required to Address Kohistan's Voltage Crisis
Immediate action is necessary to energize the 132 kV grid station in Kohistan to alleviate ongoing low voltage issues. Delays in this project are impacting critical operations at the Dasu Hydropower Project, leading to financial losses.

The Commissioner of Hazara Division has mandated the immediate energization of the 132 kV grid station to address persistent low voltage problems in Kohistan. This directive was issued during a meeting aimed at addressing delays affecting the energization process, which has stalled due to inadequate coordination among agencies including NGP, DHPP, and HAZECO.
Prolonged delays have hindered operations at the Dasu Hydropower Project, causing significant financial repercussions. The Commissioner has instructed all involved parties to resolve outstanding issues to expedite the project's completion, emphasizing that further delays are unacceptable.
