U.S. Army Launches Trusted Partner Program for High-Security Research
The U.S. Army's new Trusted Partner Program aims to enhance scientific innovation for defense through secure collaborations. This initiative will facilitate research across various security levels, ensuring rapid deployment of technologies for warfighters.

The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) is initiating the Trusted Partner Program to accelerate priority research while maintaining high security for sensitive projects. Through a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract, selected partners will engage in a five-year agreement, potentially extendable for another five years, covering research from Controlled Unclassified Information to Top Secret.
The program focuses on six technical fields: biology, material science, electronics, chemistry, information sciences, and physics. This initiative aims to rapidly align research needs with expertise, ensuring the transition of innovations into operational capabilities. It also emphasizes workforce development for future Army scientists through specialized training and security clearance processes.
