U.S. Court Allows Dominion Energy to Resume Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Project

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia granted Dominion Energy a preliminary injunction to resume construction on the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project while its lawsuit continues.
CVOW will feature 176 offshore wind turbines with a total capacity of 2.6 gigawatts, enough to power 660,000 homes. Dominion Energy aims to restart work safely and is committed to resolving the legal challenge in cooperation with the federal government.
