US Military Contract Enhances Operational Readiness of Moroccan Fighters through Pratt & Whitney
Morocco is a beneficiary of a $470 million US military contract awarded to Pratt & Whitney for the refurbishment of F100 engine modules. The contract, which allows for a sole-source supplier, includes an initial three-year term with two optional extensions. Executed in Georgia, it will sustain Morocco's fighter jet operational capabilities while managing equipment renewal costs. Additionally, various contracts for US military support and services were detailed, including a $17.89 million electricity supply contract for the US Navy.

Morocco has secured a $470 million military contract with Pratt & Whitney for refurbishing F100 engine modules, enhancing the operational readiness of its fighter fleet. This contract, authorized under a sole-source provision, spans three years with two optional extensions, running until March 16, 2029, and will be executed in Georgia.
The initiative aims to maintain initial performance levels of the aircraft while controlling renewal costs. Other contracts include a $17.89 million fixed-price agreement for electricity supply to the US Navy and additional military contracts totaling $504 million for various construction and maintenance services.
