USA Rail Terminals has launched a new rail terminal in Monroe, Louisiana, to support logistics for Meta's expansive data center in Holly Ridge, which will cover 4 million square feet and represent a multi-billion-dollar investment in AI infrastructure. The terminal is equipped to handle high-volume shipments and will facilitate the movement of construction materials via 90-car unit trains served by Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway. The project is expected to create thousands of jobs and utilize 100% clean energy while enhancing local infrastructure.

USA Rail Terminals has begun operations at a new rail terminal in Monroe, Louisiana, to enhance rail-to-truck logistics for Meta's Richland Parish Data Center in Holly Ridge. The terminal is designed for high-volume movements of aggregate and construction materials, capable of handling 90-car unit trains and served by Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railway.
Meta's data center will occupy 4 million square feet across 2,000 acres and represents a multi-billion-dollar investment in AI infrastructure. Construction is anticipated to last through the decade, creating thousands of jobs and supporting hundreds of permanent positions. Meta plans to use 100% clean energy for the facility and invest in local infrastructure improvements.
