USA Rare Earth to Acquire Texas Mineral Resources for $73 Million, Securing Round Top Heavy Rare Earth Project
USA Rare Earth Inc. plans to acquire Texas Mineral Resources Corp. for approximately $73 million in an all-stock deal, gaining full control of the Round Top project in Texas. This acquisition will establish USA Rare Earth as the sole operator, expediting the transition to commercial-scale mining, with production expected to begin in 2028. The company has secured $1.6 billion in funding commitments, including government and private investments, to support mining and processing operations.
