Uttar Pradesh Government Plans Eight Data Center Parks to Attract ₹2 Lakh Crore Investment
The Uttar Pradesh government plans to develop eight data center parks to transform the state into a digital and AI hub, targeting investments of ₹2 lakh crore. Key cities for development include Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, and Agra. The initiative aims to generate around 50,000 direct jobs and enhance digital infrastructure, with a dedicated 900 MW power supply framework to support the centers.

The Uttar Pradesh government intends to establish eight data center parks across key cities, including Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, and Agra, as part of its strategy to become a digital and AI hub. The initiative is projected to attract investments worth ₹2 lakh crore and create approximately 50,000 direct jobs.
The state plans to ensure a dedicated power supply of around 900 MW for these centers. Notable companies such as HCL Technologies, Adani Group, and NTT Data have shown interest in investing, with several memorandums of understanding signed. The development is expected to enhance the state's role in India's digital economy.
