Uttar Pradesh Launches India's Largest Robotics Hub in Noida, Strengthens AI and Tech Initiatives
Uttar Pradesh plans to establish India's largest robotics and advanced manufacturing hub in Noida, projecting over 100,000 jobs and an investment exceeding Rs 2,000 crore within five years. The initiative aims to transform the state into a national leader in AI, robotics, and deep-tech innovation, enhancing the local industrial ecosystem and attracting global investments.

The Uttar Pradesh government is set to develop the PRAGATI project, an integrated robotics and advanced manufacturing hub in Noida, covering nearly 75 acres. This facility will include testing and certification centers, AI computing infrastructure, and startup incubation spaces, aiming to generate over 100,000 jobs and contribute more than Rs 2,000 crore in gross value addition over five years.
Additionally, U Hubs in Lucknow and Noida will facilitate collaboration among startups, researchers, and industries, with a budget of Rs 100 crore for 2026-27. The focus will be on sectors such as quantum computing, semiconductor design, and biotechnology. This strategic push seeks to position Uttar Pradesh as a global center for high-tech manufacturing and innovation, potentially reducing import dependence and fostering local talent development.
